Hm, so, I got to be with this girl I was absolutely crazy for. My summer always progresses like this:

Fantastic month of May.
Gradually gets worse as the month of June goes along.
July can go either way.
August is almost always a good time
And September is the worst month of all.

I just don't really understand how we could have drifted apart, it seemed so perfect at first. It's not that I'm upset, moreso disappointed than anything. I've been reading old LiveJournal's, and man, those were fun times, even with all the drama.

I guess I just wasn't ready for it to end, but at the same time, I should have done more to kick start the thing. Oh well, that is life, and it goes on.

I feel bad for temporarily cutting her out, because we were best friends. But, in all honesty, when she can't make time for me because she wants to spend every waking second with her other friends, I mean, I know I'm not completely to blame. I know I could have, and should have done more, but it's all fine.

I will move along

I just wish I wasn't always single...I really do want to be with someone at this point of my life, and I fail. Makes me envious to see how easy it is for everyone around me...And how hard it seems for me.

So, I haven't been posting here, but I see that you guys have been busy trying to keep on. Anyway, i feel as though I should post, so here is some of the most recent stuff to happen.

• Spring Break was real boring and real fun all at the same time. I spent some time with some really cool people, made a bit of money, but spent too much time in Northern Kentucky for my own liking
  
• I get to work at the ballpark again, but I haven't filled out my forms, so it will have to wait til next weekend or the one after that.
  
• Birthday frenzy. Father's 55th = March 28. Mother & Alyssa (1st!) = April 9th. Jeny = April 10th. Upcoming: Tamara = April 20. Me = May 8th
  
• Speaking of birthdays, I'm thinking about throwing a celebration at Dave & Buster's on the 15th or 16th. I'd love for you all to go

This time last year versus this year, life for me has taken a complete three hundred sixty degree turn. Things I do now that I thought I could go the rest of my life without. Things I used to hold sacred that I don't really care too much about. The immoral seems less wrong, and the totally moral seem naive.

I wouldn't say my life is being flushed down the shit hole, or even being dumped into the shit hole. Hell, I don't think my life is even close to reaching the colon, this is just a stream of consciousness. New friends, new life, more fun, less morals. Am I the same? Probably not, but change is not a bad thing.

Man, I can get so obnoxious (and horny) when I am out partying.

Is it just me, or do the songs on the radio, and I don't mean songs that come on stations like 94.9, I mean all these newer songs are actually really good.

For instance, Hey There Delilah and Makes Me Wonder are just awesome. Plus, there's a whole bunch of songs that I just thoroughly enjoy (including, but not limited to, Cupid's Chokehold and Rehab).

IDK, I'm actually listening to the radio again with no desire to switch to my iTrip or to any of my CDs...I am thinking of making a mix for this summer's music though, cuz I enjoy it that much.

Anywho, after that day of HELL, my life has been going fairly well. Sure, the worst case scenario is pretty bad (lol), but the best case scenario is pretty awesome, too.

Yeah, so, I seriously loved this weekend. It was a great escape from the hassle and headache that I accumulated in my apartment. I love hanging out with Ian, Zach, Sara and the like.

Hanging w/TP and Ingolia was fun, though short, as well.

Oh, and did I mention that the scenery that Florence has "fallen victim" to is nothing short of beautiful? It's just a sea of white, and has snowed all weekend. I never noticed how beautiful snow could be. Not to mention the ice that accumulated around the branches of a great deal of trees.

I'm not going to lie, this has been a great weekend!

I think back to where I was last year on boring, lonely days like today and notice that while I am still quite the same, I am very different.  I don't know if I'd say I was happier back then or what, I just know things have changed.  Who I'm closer to, drifting apart from, friends with.  How last year I went home like 3 out of every 4 weekends and this year I go back about once every four weekends.

I don't really expect anyone to read that, I just want you to think about how much different things are on January 26, 2007 than January 26, 2006 and how they'll still be different on January 26, 2008.

Who's to say we'll even still be friends...Or, worse yet, still alive, this time next year?

Part Deux:
Isn't it crazy how when we get on LJ all that's ever posted is just ranting and not what I a was accustomed to two years ago?

This whole LJ community, which I check frequently because I love the updates my friends provide(d) and it helps me stay connected.  Now it just seems to be 4 people posting and then your occasionaly friend who will pour their emotions or put up a poem.

It's not what it once was.  It once was this lively community where you could read about how happy everyone was along with how crappy their lives were.  I guess it's just everyone growing up and changing, and maybe that's a good thing, maybe it's a bad thing.

On another note...Why must the majority of LJ posts have to be someone ranting?

Shouldn't you be happy enough with your life most of the time?  Sure, bad things happen to you, but bad things happen to everyone.  There's no reason to complain about EVERY. LITTLE. THING that goes wrong in your life.  Even if you are vague about it.

Anyway, in close, classes are going okay, I suppose.  Living in Lexi is fun, I suppose.  And I love my job, it's so easy and so much fun.
I am happy with my life because I don't have much to complain about.
I just wish there was more NFL...

Yazan just got back yesterday from prison. He is charged with 2nd degree assault and burglary.

To just come out and say it. I like knowing and I think very highly of someone who will because it takes a lot of courage. I have a hard time telling people, and normally just keep it to myself for fear of rejection.

12) Do you enjoy playing hard to get?

Me, personally? No. It's not worthwhile at all. If you like someone, you shouldn't get testy and possibly ruin any chance of getting them.


13) Be honest, do you play the "game" when you are dating?

Like, cheat? If so, no. I don't even keep my options open. If I'm dating, I must really think greatly of you. If you fuck me over, it'd be hard for me to ever forgive you, and I'll never forget.

14) Do you believe love at first sight exists?

Love is not a product of vanity, love is a product of knowing someone and falling for them. In short, absolutely not. But, you could easily fall for someone you viewed as eye-candy.

15) Are you a romantic person?

Yes, maybe too romantic a person...Damn movies.

16) Do you believe that you can change someone?

Yes, I've done it before and succeeded. At the same time, I've failed many a time. I think change comes by knowing someone and gaining attributes from them to change you. Everyone changes and lots of people are responsible for that change. I really wish I could have changed this one person from the change they had just gone through, but I couldn't and I didn't, and so is life.

17) If you could get married anywhere, money not an object,where would it be?

Middle East, preferably Jerusalem. Of all the weddings I've been to/seen, those were the most fun and by doing this I could invite all of my family and, hopefully, all of my wife's as well.

18) Would you date someone you thought wasn't "Marriage Material"?

I did once and I would do it again, but if I didn't feel that way after about a month, I would have to break up with them. I feel that dating is one step to see all possible suitors for marriage.

19) Do you easily give in when you are fighting?

One of my lesser traits...yes.

20) Do you have feelings for someone right now, whether they know or not?

Yes.

21) Have u ever wished u could've had someone but u messed that up?

I don't know if I've ever messed it up, but I know that there are a number of people that I wish I could have hooked up with at the time :-\

22.) Have you ever broken a heart?

I know of at least two...And I really wish I hadn't. I'll have you know, it's not because I dumped them :-(

23.)What will happen if u come and find another person in bed with your guy/girl?

To be completely honest, I'd be shocked, I'd yell, then I'd get in my car, drive around and cry.

24.) Would u ever fight somebody over your significant other?

Depends. If someone bashes my significant other, I will get into a verbal altercation if they don't stop after a plea. If one of my friends wanted to date someone I was dating, I wouldn't let them win them over. If he was the reason we broke up and he started dating her...Let's just say I wouldn't forgive him, but I don't like being physically aggressive.
